Believers' Chapel Auburn - Our Mission
Every church must have a mission statement that answers the question, “why do we exist?” At Believers’ Chapel Auburn, we filter every idea, program, teaching and budget request through our mission statement. If what we plan does not help us meet our mission, then we won’t do it.
Our mission at Believers’ Chapel Auburn is summarized in a single statement:
“Everyday People Building Everyday Relationship’s With God and Each Other”
Our mission statement is based on two strong teachings from Jesus Himself:
He said to them; “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe…” Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it. (Mark16:15-22 NIV)
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Laws and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew22:36-40 NIV)
Believers’ Chapel Auburn exists:
To worship God with sincere expression.
To share the Good News of Jesus with everyday people.
To connect with other believers in meaningful everyday relationships.
To prepare disciples to fulfill their everyday purpose.
To encourage leaders in their God-given destiny, that will result in planting churches.
